IU Bloomington TLTC supports enhancement of teaching and learning

Whether you are a new faculty member or associate instructor or have been teaching here for a while, the UITS Teaching and Learning Technologies Centers (TLTC) are your resource for advancing teaching excellence using IT. The TLTC offers teaching support through workshops and one-on-one consultations at our facilities in the Wells Library and Ballantine Hall or in your department setting.

Register for one of the TLTC beginning-of-semester workshops taking place over the next six weeks. TLTC workshops support (at no cost) your use of technology in teaching and learning.

To learn about using Oncourse, consider the “Oncourse: The Basics” overview workshop. To develop more targeted skills, attend one of the tool-specific trainings on Modules, Discussion Forums, the Gradebook, or Assignments.

The TLTC lineup also includes sessions on how to teach from home in the event of campus closings; how to use Turnitin.com; the ins and outs of TurningPoint Technologies (IU’s new student response — or clicker — system); the many uses of Adobe Presenter and Adobe Connect; and do-it-yourself video with a Flip camera.
