Protect IU will present and also send out information about related topics, all in one location. The site will also display alerts related to immediate safety situations, and news items and blog commentaries by internal and external experts on:

* Environmental health and safety

* Privacy

The portal brings together resources and content from numerous IU sites — but it will not replace messaging sent via the IU-Notify emergency notification system.
