Protect your personal information with Identity Finder

Identity Finder software can help you find and protect personal information on your computers, adding to your efforts to prevent identity theft.

Identity Finder searches your computers, file shares, and personal media for sensitive information such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, and more — and then helps you delete or encrypt that information, protecting it from third-party access.

You can install the Enterprise Edition on any university-owned computer. Also, as an IU student, faculty, or staff member, you can install the Home Edition on your personal computers. Both editions are available from IUware at no cost.
