Pilot program explores next-gen learning technologies

Now is your chance to experiment with new learning technologies. The university is participating in pilot trials of two technologies in order to assess their ability to support the changing needs of students and faculty. These trials are the first in a series of pilots to take place over a two-year period.

CourseNetworking beta, or the CN, is an academic social networking site that connects IU faculty and students with others around the world based on shared interests and class subjects. Canvas is a cloud-based service that helps improve student and faculty collaboration by integrating web services such as Google Docs, social media, and RSS.

Faculty: Interested in the CN? Join us for an August 31st webinar moderated by Ali Jafari, IUPUI professor and the CN’s creator. Register today at http://ctl.iupui.edu/Events/eventsRegistration.asp?id=2983.
