IU to merge schools of informatics, library science
IU is making plans to merge its School of Informatics and its School of Library and Information Science into a single school, the IU School of Informatics and Computing.
The change reflects the rapid evolution of informatics, computing, and libraries. The new school will broaden perspectives, serving as a place that educates and conducts research in topics ranging from computer science and cybersecurity to network science and big data.
