IU wireless upgrades — let us know what you think

Wireless at IU Bloomington and IUPUI just got even better. Network engineers completed wireless upgrades on Feb. 1, so you now have improved access to the IU Secure wireless network.

The new wireless system supports 802.11b/g/n in 2.4Ghz and 802.11a/n in 5Ghz — but you’ll get the best connection if your device supports 802.11n protocol in both the 2.4 and the 5Ghz bands.

We need your feedback in order to make IU Secure the best it can be. If you experience difficulties connecting to wireless, contact the Support Center:

  • Call UITS Support Center phone consultants 24/7: (812) 855-6789 (IU Bloomington); (317) 274-4357 (IUPUI)
  • Email the Support Center (ithelp@iu.edu)
  • Chat with Support Center consultants (http://ithelplive.iu.edu)
  • Visit walk-in locations: Wells Library Information Commons (first floor west tower) and Indiana Memorial Union M089 (IU Bloomington); Informatics and Communications Technology Complex, IT 129 (IUPUI)
