Do you really need to print that?

Save trees and energy in the Student Technology Centers by following the “print less, go green” guidelines. Bonus: These practices will also help you stay within your printing allotment.

Here are some tips to keep in mind:

  • Conserve paper, toner, and other resources by printing two-up (two pages per sheet).
  • Ask your instructors to accept your assignments electronically via Oncourse, Box, or email. Many will — and it can’t hurt to ask.
  • Decrease font size and margins on your printouts. More words on the page means less pages printed.
