This fall, IU will provide a wireless network for media devices that can’t use IU Secure. (Think Xboxes, PlayStations, Apple TVs, and more.)
Called IU DeviceNet, the network is available in all IUPUI and IU Bloomington residence halls and campus apartments. You don’t need to authenticate to use this network — but it doesn’t provide encryption, which means IU Secure is still the best choice for computing devices or smartphones.
