One.IU, Indiana University’s new app store for its online services, has been named a finalist in IDG’s Consumerization of IT in the Enterprise (CITE) awards program. One.IU joins six other finalists in the Best Internal App category: Cerner Corporation, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Equinix, GlobalTranz, Interactions and True Value Company.

“Indiana University is honored to be the only university named a CITE finalist, and this affirms the inspiring innovation of IU’s many IT professionals who can be creative in the culture of a great university,” said Brad Wheeler, IU vice president for information technology and CIO. “I’m very proud of our development team and the speed of developing One and rolling it out to all IU campuses.”

The One.IU development team has also been named a nominee for the 15th annual TechPoint Mira Awards. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Saturday, May 3, at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.
