Stephen Simms, IU manager of high performance file systems, has been elected to the Open Scalable File Systems board as community representative director (touch for more >>)

Simms is returning to the position after a year hiatus; he had previously served for the 2012 term. OpenSFS is a non-profit organization advancing and coordinating the LustreĀ® file system community.

Each year, OpenSFS members elect a community representative director to join the board in governance and stewardship of OpenSFS. The term runs from March to March each year. Read the full news release here: bit.ly/1gHYMCy
